In Germany, about 800,000 people suffer from chronic urticaria, a common skin disease characterised by wheals and/or swellings of the skin as well as severe itching. In the news channel, we will keep you informed about the latest developments in causal research, new and alternative forms of treatment, clinical trails, information on hives and the activities of the urticaria network e.V.. We would like to express our gratitude to Cogent for the generous donation to the Urticaria network e.V. in memory of our esteemed co-founder Marcus Maurer.
Marcus Maurer was not only an outstanding scientist and pioneer in the field of urticaria research, but also a passionate advocate for patients’ rights. His tireless efforts have given hope and support to many people with urticaria.
